Installation Guide
This guide help you to install Teamcision JIRA App. First click the “Get App” button on the marketplace. After installation is finished, you can enable Teamcision for each project separately. Atlassian distinguish between two kinds of JIRA projects company-managed and team-managed. This leads to two different processes to enable Teamcision. You can check your project type in the bottom of project side menu. Click Decisions in the project side menu.
1. Teamcision is build on Atlassian Forge Platform. This means the app is hosted by Atlassian and cannot act as a user without getting user consent. You have to allow access to move forward.
2. a) Company-managed project
As an administrator you will see the following section. Click “enable” to enable the decision log in your project.
2. b) Team-managed project
Go to Project Settings > Issue types > and click ‘Add Issue type’.
Add name 'Decision'. The name will be used as identifier and must exactly match.
Press 'Create' button.
Switch back to your decision log. Now you should see your empty decision log. Add your first decision by clicking “Create” Issue (in the normal Jira manner). For more information go to the User Guide.
